A.R.K. Ramos is proud to use the leading technology available in the plaque casting industry, the photo polymer-casting pattern.

By using this photo mechanical reproduction system we can produce custom graphics for standard plaques. We can duplicate most any typestyle or graphic that can be provided in vector form.

In combination with this development we have enhanced computer graphics capabilities allowing you as a designer a much wider variety of typestyles. These technologies, along with state of the art equipment bring beautiful creations in cast metals to life.

Sculptured Relief Plaques

A.R.K. Ramos has a staff of experienced craftsmen and sculptors who can create beautiful sculptured relief emblems, portraits and pictorials. Over the years we have created some of the industry's finest bas relief plaques and seals. We can do the same for your project. Full round lost wax sculptures are also available upon request. We can create a beautiful reproduction of almost any subject in a wide variety of sizes and finishes. Each piece is quoted on an individual basis. Full round sculptures are a standard of recognition unlike any other. Our experienced sculptors can be trusted with any challenge and will always provide the very finest fine art pieces available in the market today.

Letterstyles

Many letter styles are available on cast plaques through our computer systems. We can match most letterstyles provided using our vast directory of fonts. You will need to check with a sales representative to verify your particular style's adaptability to casting.

In some cases the custom letter styles require artwork or pattern work at an additional charge.

We also offer Braille, Hebrew, Greek, Spanish, and many more languages. At A.R.K. Ramos, we strive to create plaques that exceed our customers’ expectations.

Please check with our sales department for pattern charges if applicable. For letter styles not shown we will require vector artwork to be supplied with the order.

Artwork Preferences

When a logo or artwork is needed to enhance your custom project and you would prefer to furnish your own artwork to us, digital vector art will achieve the best results. We can use vector art in any of the following formats: Adobe Illustrator, .EPS, .PDF, Freehand (v. 8 or earlier), Corel Draw (v. 10 or earlier), or .DXF. All the above need to be in solid black and white only (no color, grayscale, or screens). The CMYK color specification required is 0% C, 0% M, 0% Y, 100% K. We would be very grateful if you would not furnish .JPEG, .GIF, or .TIF, they do not work with our process. Very thin lines or lines too close together do not cast well. In most cases we require line widths of at least 13 pt. in order to cast cleanly.

If you don’t have digital art, we can scan sharp, black and white, “camera ready” art on paper with good quality results. Or, if you need a source to produce original art or someone to refine your art to cast cleanly, our art department is ready to assist you. Our digital artists will work with you to achieve the impressive results you require.
