A.R.K. Ramos offers a full line of ADA compliance signage systems in aluminum, brass, bronze, stainless steel and magnesium. Many stock patterns are available or we can make custom signage to meet your particular application. All letters and Braille are raised 1/32" from the surface with letters and symbols in contrasting colors to background colors.

All product specifications are based solely on our interpretation of Section 4.30.4 in Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, July 26, 1991. Letters and symbols are raised 1/32" from the surface and accompanied by Grade II Braille. Raised characters are 5/8" minimum and 2" maximum height. Stock pictograms comply with ADA requirements.
A.R.K. Ramos signage materials meet most city, state and federal fire safety and building codes and are acceptable for use in private and public buildings. Building codes vary from city to city, we recommend local authorities be contacted about potential regulations which might affect your signage needs.

| Standard Sign Types |

Standard signs are available in 6" width and 8" height for signs requiring graphics and letters, or 6" wide and 6" high for signs requiring only pictograms. Copy signs with only lettering and Braille are available in 2" width and 10" length. Our standard sign types are available in many color combinations to accent any decorating or color scheme.

We will set the type and braille copy for standard signs. Custom signs will need to have full size camera ready artwork provided by the customer. If you are unable to provide artwork, our art department can produce the required art for almost any design at a nominal charge.

| Colors |

Section 4.30.5 in Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, July 26, 1991, specifies light background with dark characters or dark background with light characters.
We offer a wide variety of standard colors and a full array of custom colors to choose from.

| Mountings |
|
Most signs can be installed using high grade industrial silicone adhesive. Concealed stud mounting is available for heavier signs.
We do not recommend exposed screw fasteners due to confusion to Braille readers.
